The Media Collection Standalone Sections allow you to create individual pages to showcase multimedia content: images or videos. You can create collections to display your art or photos, highlight products and services, or post videos of your work.
To get started, please watch the video guide below and read on for further instructions:
Adding a Media Collection Section
Each Media Collection page belongs to a Media Collections section. This standalone section collects the media collections pages outside your UENI website landing page.
Once you are inside the Editor, simply click on Pages, then choose Add Page or Link and select Media Collection.
The name of the section is what appears on your website’s menu!
That’s it! You are ready to add media collection pages to your website.
Creating Media Collection Pages
Each page hosts a media collection of up to 30 images or videos. In addition to the multimedia content, you can write a rich text description for your collection.
To add a collection page to your Profiles section:
- Go to the Editor → Sections and open the section where the page will be available
- Click the “Add Media Collection” button
- Add your images and videos (up to 30!)
- Click "Save" to publish the page
If you are still preparing some content before launching, you can toggle the Space “off” — using the green switch. This allows you to manage your pages without them becoming visible to your visitors.
Sorting Media Collection Pages
By default, new collection pages in your media collection section appear at the top, i.e., pages are sorted in reverse chronological order. In any case, if you want to, you can sort your pages in any order.
In your Media Collection view, you can change the order of pages — this is the same behaviour as sorting your products or services:
- Go to the Editor → Pages and open the page that contains your Media Collection section.
- Click on the Media Collection section
- Click on the “Edit” button to enable the editing mode
- Using the ☰ icon to the left of each page, you can click and drag to sort the pages as you want
